Overview
We are a family-run UK business operating food and beverage outlets at airports, delivering exceptional experiences to every customer. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You’ll be a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic team player, passionate about coffee and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant coffee-stop setting. This is an hourly paid role, with shifts that may include early mornings (e.g., 2 am) or late finishes (e.g., 11.30 pm), but no split or double shifts are required.
The Role
In this role, you’ll ensure that every customer enjoys a consistently high level of service, adhering to our company policies and procedures. You’ll deliver an outstanding coffee-stop experience, working effectively with the back-of-house team to provide first-class service with particular attention to hospitality and the promotion of sales.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
Qualifications:
Trained barista.
Relevant Experience:
– Significant previous barista experience is essential.
– Familiarity with health and safety/food standard requirements.
– Experience in an airport-based hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
– Proven ability to generate sales in a hospitality setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
– Strong communication skills.
– Ability to follow processes and maintain high levels of service delivery under pressure.
– Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
– Demonstrable knowledge of food and beverages.
– Well-developed customer service skills.
– Ability to effectively handle customer complaints.
